Qigong Food of the Month: Ginger and Walnut Tea for the Winter
Yinong Chong, November 2008
Need something
warm to get rid of the colds and coughs? This is the recipe to keep handy
for the cold winter.
Walnuts 5g,
Green Scallion (white stems only) 5g, fresh Ginger roots 25g
-- all minced together, then put in a ceramic pot with 2 cups of
water. Put 15g of black tea in the pot, bring to boil, and then simmer for
5 minutes. Filter out the ingredients, and drink the tea once per day.
If your cold
has lingered for quite a while and you just cannot get rid of the stubborn
cough, this tea definitely worth a try. It also helps with bronchitis and
asthma.
