Qigong Certification Program

Our Qigong Certification Program includes systematic training in the methods described below. This program is available in Washington DC and other locations by request.

Qigong for Health and Meditation

Qigong (Chi Kung) is a Chinese method of developing of the body’s energy system. This practice focuses on opening energy channels, as well as relaxing the body and mind. Core Qigong and Nei Gong sets are taught along with a detailed study of the important Wu Ji standing posture (Zhan Zhuang). Students also learn foundation breathing and meditation practices.

Qigong Postures

Qigong postures include Wu Ji, the Universal Post, and many other postures. These postures are sometimes referred to as Tao Yin or  ‘Taoist Yoga.’

Qigong Moving Sets (Nei Kung sets)

Nei Kung means internal work, another term for Qigong. Moving Nei Gong sets include Neijia Warm up Exercises, Chen Tai Chi Chuan, Wudang Tai Yi Qigong, and Eight Pieces of Brocade.

Chi Kung Meditation Methods

Meditation methods include relaxation, breathing, mind-body integration, visualization, sounds, and color. Examples include Six Healing Sounds, Five Element Visualization and Guided Meditations.

Internal Alchemy

Nei Dan, or Internal Alchemy is the highest level of Qigong training. Its purpose is to fully integrate the body mind, and spirit in order to live a long, healthy, high quality life. Internal alchemy training is quite rigorous.
