Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese system of health and self-defense based upon Qigong principles. In this series, you will learn a complete Tai Chi form. The form will build a foundation for higher level practice. The form incorporates breathing, movement, and Qi work. Those who practice Tai Chi daily have not only experienced health benefits such as enhanced immune system, sustained stamina and vitality, but also better mental focus and concentration, and a more balanced and peaceful approach to life.

Upon completion of this series, you will have an understanding of Tai Chi’s important theories and practices. You will also be prepared to continue your training with Chen Tai Chi (the original form of Tai Chi) or Yang Tai Chi (the most popular form of Tai Chi).

The series will provide step-by-step instructions on the entire exercise. The exercise is suitable for all ages and experience levels.

DVD Available

Video DVD of the Tai Chi form will be available for purchase at a discounted seminar price. Please order your video when you register to reserve a copy.

How We Teach

All workshops are open to students of all levels. At each class, we work on classic Tai Chi and Qigong exercises designed to build a solid foundation and improve Qi flow. You will learn basic drills and advanced techniques in a progressive fashion. You will strengthen and deepen your practice with authentic internal Qigong forms. Experienced students will have the opportunity to fully develop their Qigong practice through higher level training.

The classes are organized around themes, but students may join at any time. No prior experience is required.
