Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan)

Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) is a form of Internal Kung Fu based on Qigong theory. It was created by General Chen Wanting at the end of the Ming dynasty. Since its creation it has spread around the world and spawned an number of different styles, such as Yang Tai Chi, Wudang Tai Chi, Zhaobao, Wu, Sun and many others.

This famous art is practiced by millions around the world for health and wellness. Originally a martial art, Tai chi can be used as an exercise to enhance mind-body well-being. Tai Chi is an important part of TCCII's Qigong and Tai Chi Certification Program. This program focuses on the health and wellness aspects of the art. Foundation exercises and warm-ups are taught first. Students will learn a Tai Chi solo form based on the Chen Tai Chi Chuan system.

Tai Chi Chuan Martial Program

Tai Chi Chuan is an important component of our Internal Kung Fu Martial Program. This program includes all traditional aspects of Tai Chi Chuan training. Students will learn, applications, conditioning, san shou, weapons, Fa Jing, and advanced Tai Chi principles.
