Kung Fu Techniques Work if You Practice Properly

✔ Practice each technique 1) in the air 2) on a bag or mook and 3) with a partner

✔ To practice your techniques on a bag you'll need a heavy bag, wall bag, or some other type of hanging bag.

✔ You'll also need a set of training gloves. We suggest you get the fingerless gloves, so you get used to a variety of straking, grabbing, and clawing techniques.

✔ To practice on a mook, you'll need, well mook. The Wing Chun mook is the most commonly available one but nearly an martial art could benefit from it. While you don't need gloves for it, if you want to hit you might want to add some padding for the punches (unless you have specific iron hand training, but that is another story.)

✔ When practicing on a partner it is important to keep their safety in mind. Really, don't be a jerk and hurt your partner.

✔ Wear gloves and you can also have your partner wear protective gear such as helmets, shin protectors, checkst proectors, forearm pads, groin protection, and anything else that might keep them safe.

✔ When you practice you application or sparring, go slowly at first and use control. Safe the power hits for the Mook Jong or the Heavy Bag.

✔ And most importantly... BE SAFE
