Yinong Chong, a leading life transformation and wellness coach, combines the best of modern Western Science with Eastern wisdom and practices to help her clients achieve breakthrough innovation in health, happiness, and life.
Dr. Chong is a Mayo Clinic trained health coach. She earned a PhD in Sociology from Arizona State University, her MA in Journalism from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and her BS in English Literature from Beijing University. She also holds a graduate certificate in Research Methodology from the University of Maryland, and was a post doctorate fellow at CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service.
Dr. Chong’s shares life changing principles and concepts in a way that is relevant for today’s world and inspires her clients to reach their highest potential. Her research expertise enables her to bridge the ancient teachings and modern science. Dr. Chong’s rare proficiency in Classical Chinese and ability to “speak English like a native” make her one of the top interpreters of Chinese culture and philosophy for the English speaking world.
Dr. Chong has over 20 years of experience in public health research, having conducted over two dozen epidemiologic and methodological studies which have been published in peer-reviewed journals or presented at scientific meetings. She led the design, development and production of a series of highly successful education and communication products. She won the Director’s Award from the National Center of Health Statistics for these productions.
As a co-founder of TCCII Dr. Chong led the development and production of several wellness products including training DVDs, CDs, whitepapers, courses, seminars, events and classes. She is highly sought public speaker on the topics of health, wellness, culture, and transformation.
Shawn Cartwright teaches his students how to master their internal energy and master their life. He combines a passion for excellence, deep knowledge of Eastern and Western practices, and ability to break down complex concepts into actionable methods to get the best results for his students.
Mr. Cartwright co-founded TCCII to facilitate the congress of Orient and Occident through music, video, art, and training courses. He uses his understanding of classical Chinese internal arts and Western culture to build a bridge between East and West for his students. His many years of intensive training include the arts of Feng Shui, Yijing, Qigong, Taiji, Xingyi, Bagua, Wing Chun, Fujian White Crane, Shaolin, Tong Bei, Baji, Pigua, and Internal Alchemy.
As a producer and writer, Mr. Cartwright uses written, audio, and visual mediums to share these ancient arts. He produces training DVDs, music and meditation CDs, whitepapers, and videos. His two feature length screenplays, HIDDEN IMMORTAL and TALISMAN SWORD combine his lifelong love of Chinese martial arts with a passion for storytelling. Like the archetypical forces of Yin and Yang, these two screenplays represent the opposing but complementary forces in all of us. His current projects include writing screenplays, making films, and producing music albums.
Mr. Cartwright earned an MBA and BS in Engineering Science and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He completed additional graduate level coursework at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and is a published author in the field of strategy.
